User Guide for Administering Your Cardsetter Website

Adding Beers

  1. When logged in, click on the "Pages" icon and select the template for the beer you are adding - seasonal, flagship, or sour. 
  2. Click on "duplicate page"
  3. Add the Beer name, description and appropriate tags in the left panel. | TAGS - use the tag "beer" and the tag for the category of beer "seasonal" (for example). On any beers that you do not want to show on the site, add the "archived" tag. When you want these beers to re-appear, remove that tag.
  4. Upload the image in the panel section that you'd like featured on the card for the beer and that will be used for social shares on Facebook, etc.
  5. Update the information on the page.
  6. Drag and drop the appropriate beer image to the page.
  7. Update the beer name and description and any other information you want on the page - ("brewer's notes?")
  8. When you're haappy with the page, click publish.

Tags:

  • beer flagship
  • beer seasonal
  • beer sour
  • archived - for beers you don't want to display anywhere for the time being

Adding Events

  1. When logged in, click on "Create" and then "Event"
  2. In the events panel on the left, add the event name, description, image and all dates/occurrences.
  3. Click "save"

Adding Blogs

  1. When logged in, click on the "Pages" icon and select the blog template.
  2. Click on "duplicate page"
  3. Add the Blog title, description and appropriate tags in the left panel. | TAGS - use the tag "blog"
  4. Upload the image in the panel section that you'd like featured on the card for the blog and that will be used for social shares on Facebook, etc.
  5. Update the information on the page.
  6. Drag and drop the appropriate image to the page.
  7. Update the blog title and text and any other information you want on the page
  8. When you're haappy with the page, click publish.

Tags:

  • blog
  • archived - for any blog posts you no longer want to display anywhere

Adding New Pages

  1. When logged in, click on "Create" and then "Page"
  2. In the left panel, add your pages title, description, tags (if applicable), and image.
  3. On the page, build out your page by adding content blocks to and adding content as you like.
  4. When you're happy with the page, click on "publish."
